BRADLEY BERTRUM FRIGHT
Date of Passing: Mar 27, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRADLEY BERTRUM FRIGHT It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of our brother Bradley Bertrum Fright on March 27, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital. His brother Cory was at his side. He is predeceased by his father Bertrum Edward (1977) and his mother Lillian Eleanor (2004). He leaves to mourn, his sister Gay, and three brothers, Kelly, Cory and Blair and their families. As a young man, Bradley was filled with a promise, a man with a great sense of humour, making friends easily and with great mechanical aptitude. He was recognized by Manitoba Hydro for his extraordinary talent as a millwright. While employed by Manitoba Hydro, he lived for many years in Genpeg and that isolation drew him to the abuse of substances which, over time easily took his life. His death represents a lesson of great and lasting importance to his family and many others that he touched. We often believe that we can control these things but so easily it ends up controlling us. Our family mourns and remembers our brother for what he could have been rather than what he was. We know his is with God and finally at peace. We wish to thank three particular nurses on the 5th Floor of Seven Oaks Hospital, Krystal, Mona and Theresa. These nurses cared for Bradley in his last days with respect, dignity and great human kindness. In accordance with Bradley's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family funeral was held. For those that wish to honour Brad's life and help others with the challenges that Bradley faced, we encourage you to make donations to the Addictions Foundation of Winnipeg. Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
